Do You Do Piercing? Yes! Tuesday thru Saturdays. We also carry a wide variety of piercing jewlery. Do You Take Appointments? We do take appointments, only in person (never over the phone or e-mail) due to the fact that appointments require a deposit and a consultation. How Much is an Appointment Deposit? A 50-dollar deposit is required for all appointments, although if the Tattoo is a large scale, multiple session piece, the artist will need a few weeks to finish the drawing and will require a larger deposit. The deposit is deducted from the price of the tattoo, and on multi-session pieces, the deposit is deducted from the last session. Do you do tattoos on a walk in basis? Yes, any day we are open we take walk in clients (appointments always have priority over walk in clients). Can I bring my children with me when I get a tattoo? No, nobody under the age of 18 (this includes children) is allowed in the store (not even in the lobby, due to the Rhode Island Dept. of Health). Can I have a friend come back with me in the tattoo area when I receive my tattoo? No, only the tattoo recipient is allowed in the tattoo area (due to Rhode Island Dept. of Health regulations). Can I call you for a price quote? Sorry, we can only price a tattoo when the design in front of us, in person; this way we can look it over and give you an accurate estimate on how much time and work is involved, and how much it will cost. Can I email a picture to you for a price quote? Sure, just make sure and send a low resolution picture (75 dpi) with an accurate description of how you want the tattoo done, where it will be placed on the body, and exactly how big it will be. Can I get a Tattoo on my Hands, Head, Neck, Genitalia? No, the City of Newport does not allow us to tattoo these areas. Do I need ID to get a tattoo? Yes, you need a state ID, driver's license, military ID or passport (no matter what your age is). Can I have a parent sign for me to get a tattoo if I am under 18 years old? No, there is no consent law for tattooing in Rhode Island, therefore you must be at least 18 years old to receive a tattoo. I have a piece that needs to be drawn. Can I come in and get it drawn and tattooed on me in the same day? If the tattoo is of a smaller scale and can be drawn within a reasonable amount of time, this is not a problem. Anything that would take more than 30-40 minutes to draw is usually done by appointment, so the artist can spend the appropiate amount of time with the piece and does not feel rushed. What payments do you accept? Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover |
